Imagine a living prison so vast that it contains corridors and forests, cities and seas. Imagine a prisoner with no memory, who is sure he came from Outside, even though the prison has been sealed for centuries and only one man, half real, half legend, has ever escaped.
Imagine a girl in a manor house in a society where time has been forbidden, where everyone is held in a seventeenth century world run by computers, doomed to an arranged marriage that appals her, tangled in an assassination plot she both dreads and desires.
One inside, one outside
But both imprisoned.
Imagine a war that has hollowed the moon, seven skullrings that contain souls, a flying ship and a wall at the world’s end.
Imagine the unimaginable.

This book was okay. At first I was super excited for the amazing concept of the prison and the world outside of it. But my expectations weren’t met at first. I feel like the whole meeting of Claudia and Finn dragged out way to long and I was very bored in the beginning and part of the middle of it. The pace started to pick up a bit towards the end and I found that by the end of the book I couldn’t put it down. Finn was really the only character I liked the other characters were really sorta uncaring about anything. There also wasn’t a lot of characterization in this bokk. Although a few characters did change, many of them were very static throughout the whole book.
The plot once it got moving was very interesting and I really liked the whole concept. I recommend this book to teens who like books with action, adventure, and Sci-fi in them.

The sky is dark with wings …
Like sand in an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past they must find the place where the angels fell to earth. Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if he can do this—live only to lose Luce again and again.
Yet together they will face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies …and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed. And suddenly Luce knows what must happen.
For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now will be the only one that truly matters.
In the fight for Luce, who will win?
The astonishing conclusion to the FALLEN series. Heaven can’t wait any longer

This wasn’t the best conclusion to a series that I’ve read. I feel like it was kinda thrown together and I predicted a lot of what happened earlier on so it wasn’t as big as a shock as it should have been. Honestly I think Lauren Kate’s writing style is great and in her other books she gave her characters some really development. But in Rapture I feel like there was very little development. Kate also took a weird twist on some of the religious aspects and I didn’t like that I found it very weird. This ending was a let down for me but it also kept me second guessing my self and the plot moved fast enough that I was intrigued and would have finished it quicker had I not had other things to do. I recommend this series to teens who like books with romance, suspense, action, and fantasy in them. #fallenseries #laurenkate #torment #fallen #Rapture #passion #romance #suspense #action #fantasy #teenbookreviews #teenbooks #books #bookreviews #yabooks
Luce would die for Daniel.
And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way… .
Luce is certain that something - or someone - in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime … going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel … and finally unlock the key to making their love last.
Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.
Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames … forever.

Passion was a little bit of a let down for me. At first the whole time travel thing was cool but it got annoying really fast to the point I didn’t want to finish it. Some of the book was really predictable too so… Lauren Kate is still a good author this just wasn’t one of her best books. There was little character development and not much character interaction. I understand why this book was the way it was, it gave more background and set up the plot for the final book in the series Rapture. Which I will be reading next. I hope the next book will not be as much of a let down and will be a good conclusion to the series. I somewhat recommended this book to teens who read the series and enjoy books with action, romance, suspense, and fantasy. #laurenkate #fallen #torment #passion #action #romance #suspense#teenbookreviews #teenbooks #books #bookreviews #yabooks
How many lives do you need to live before you find someone worth dying for?
In the aftermath of what happened at Sword & Cross, Luce has been hidden away by her cursed angelic boyfriend, Daniel, in a new school filled with Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans. Daniel promises she will be safe here, protected from those who would kill her. At the school Luce discovers what the Shadows that have followed her all her life mean – and how to manipulate them to see into her other lives. Yet the more Luce learns about herself, the more she realizes that the past is her only key to unlocking her future … and that Daniel hasn’t told her everything. What if his
version of the past isn’t actually the way things happened … what if Luce was really meant to be with someone else?

I really enjoyed this book! It was interesting although I felt that it could be a little repetitive at times. I didn’t like how there were so many useless arguements between some of the characters. I really like Lauren Kate’s angel ideas and concepts. She also does an amazing job at character development and moving the plot along. Torment’s plot moved a lot faster than Fallen’s and there was more action in it as well. In this book Luce starts to look more into her past and learns more about her part to play in the whole mess. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series Passion. I definitely recommended this series to teens who like books with action, romance, suspense, mystery, and fantasy.

There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at Sword & Cross boarding school in Savannah. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are screwups, and security cameras watch every move.
Except Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce—he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret … even if it kills her.

I really enjoyed this book and the plot of it. Although some of it could be easily guessed. The characters were very intersting and I feel that they were well developed and all of them had their own personalities. I like Luce although sometimes she can be really dumb and slow to get the point most of the time she was witty and feisty. I feel like Lauren Kate will continue to develop her and all of the other characters in the next books. This book was really slow through most of it with a lot of the action happening in the last couple of chapters. But I still enjoyed it. Fallen did leave a lot of questions unanswered but i feel like they will be explained in the next book. I have seen a lot of bad reviews from people and this is just my opinion so no hate please. I’m excited to start reading the next book in this series Torment. I definitely recommended this book to teens who like books with romance, suspense, action, and fantasy in them. #fallenseries #laurenkate #torment #fallen #Luce #romance #suspense #action #fantasy #teenbookreviews #teenbooks #yabooks #books #bookreviews
So yeah… I’m so sorry for my lack of reading and I’ll try to get better so expect a review for The Kill Order in the next couple weeks… hopefully. #readingfunk #TheKillOrder #bookreviews

What Wicked doesn’t know is that something’s happened that no Trial or Variable could have foreseen. Thomas has remembered far more than they think. And he knows that he can’t believe a word of what Wicked says.
The time for lies is over. But the truth is more dangerous than Thomas could ever imagine.
Will anyone survive the Death Cure?

This book had all kinds of twists and turns. There were a lot of times that I was very surprised with what happened. I didn’t expect the ending and I thought it was a very good conclusion to the series. Although there were some loose ends. James Dashner created some very interesting and fun characters all of whom under go some development. There were some parts that I thought were a little rushed and could have used some more detail. But overall The Maze Runner series was amazing and I can’t wait to read the prequel to find out how it all started. I definitely recommended this series to teens who like books with action, adventure, some romance, suspense, and Sci-fi. #TheMazeRunner #TheScorchTrails #TheDeathCure #JamesDashner #TheKillOrder #action #adventure #romance #scifi #suspense #books #bookreviews #teenbookreviews #teenbooks #yabooks
Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end.
Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn’t done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Scorch.
There are no rules. There is no help. You either make it or you die.
The Gladers have two weeks to cross through the Scorch—the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.
Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off.
There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers’ destruction—and they’re determined to survive.

This book was also slow for me in the beginning, and it took me awhile to get through it. But i think i liked it better than the first. The new characters and plot twist left me wanting more. The Scorch Trails is filled with betrayals and surprising turns. Thomas seems to grow a lot and gain more leader like qualities. James Dashner created a very interesting story and characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series The Death Cure. I recommend this series to teens who like books with action, adventure, some romance, suspense, and Sci-fi. #TheMazeRunner #JamesDashner #action #adventure #scifi #TheScorchTrails #books #bookreviews #teenbookreviews #teenbooks #yabooks #TheDeathCure #romance #suspense
When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls. Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift. Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers. Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.

This book was slow for me at first. It took me a while to really get into it but when I did I loved it. It was interesting to learn about the maze and the things going on in it. I do feel that the character development was lacking a bit. That’s something James Dashner could work on but the plot was amazing it captivated me and I wanted to know what was going to happen next. The ending blew me away and I can’t wait to start the second book in the series The Scorch Trials. I definitely recommended this book to teens who like books with action, adventure, and sci-fi.
